Monday - 5/3/1 Full Body wk1
I am still in the process of rehabbing a nagging back and hip. However, I feel the need to compete. The plan is to keep dropping weight and compete bench only in the 242 class at the end of March.
Monday - Full Body Dynamic stretch Blast strap circuit
Trap bar dl Working sets: 290/350x5, 375x10 FSL sets: 290 3x5 Close grip incline bench Working sets: 275/315x5 350x10 FSL Sets Paused: 275x10 x5 Assistance: Football bar tri ext 135 5x10 Football inverted rows bw x22x16x12
Had the day off due to the impending snow storm, so Jess and I trained early. Back is feeling a little better each day. I hope I can get to a point where I can arch on Friday, we'll see.
The assistance work was good. I like the football bar extensions, they were brutal. I used an underhand grip on the football bar for inverted rows. I think those are going to be the key to building the giant guns I'm looking for.
