Bench press fun
I am in my off season. This off season goals are to train consistently, get back in shape and bring overall strength levels back up. I survived moving my house and business and have a baby boy on the way. Business is growing well, my staff is falling in place and it's time to put some of my focus back into myself. -----------------------------
Overall, training is going well but there will always be problems, hopefully I am smarter than the problems
Today was the best bench day I have had in a long time.
Not because I lifted a crazy amount but because the weight felt good in my hands.
When I paused between reps I felt locked in. When I misgrooved the weight, I pulled it back in the groove. Although, I am still not where I want to be, today was the most positive I have felt about moving in the direction I want to be.
As a side note, I'm sore as shit from yesterday.
Bench press w/doubled moster minis 265x5
Incline DB press w/ Elbows tucked 125x8
Lat pullodowns w/tricep pushdowns 4x8/10
Even though I am not strong right now, I feel like it is coming back for the first time since the bicep tear.
