How is your hip feeling? You write about the trouble it has recently given you. What is the cause/ diagnosis?
I noticed you are changing your workouts and you are going in a new direction. Your new workouts reflect how some of the top highland games athletes train in the gym. Are you going to transition to highland games?
The hip is doing great but I found out that it wasn't my hip at all. I strained some band that is involved in rotating the torso. The pain I was getting from it made me believe it was my hip. I was told to take some time off from squatting and pulling and it should heal up. Thanks for asking.
I would love to get involved with the Highland Games but unfortunately don't have the time and my throwing technique really is horrible. My training is just directed at losing some weight, getting in better shape and have a better appearence. At 41, I think I should be concerned with my longevity, especially with all the injuries I've had in the past year or so.
