Bench Work 12-30-08

Basic Bench workout today simply benched and got the hell out Ill do assistance tomorow I am real pleased with my strength right now and I am really moving the bar well Today I worked on competition set up and pausing weight I think I figured out my opener for the Raw Unity meet


Raw Bench/Power Rack
Bar/135/175/225/315 x 10 warm up
405 x 3
455 x 3
495 x 3
Then I took some singles with a pause
545 x 1
585 x 1
605 x 1
625 x 1 smoked I was real happy with the singles the power rack is old as dirt and pretty narrow preventing me from using my actual comp. grip I was probably 2 inches closer than it and still smoked the 625 I fel a lot better about doing the meet in 3 weeks now
I did 3 sets of close grips with #225
225 x 20 x 3 then got the hell out
