First time not hitting a PR on 5/3/1. Not a huge surprise though, had to happen sooner or later, and it was most likely going to happen with bench. I think that the local endurance is probably a big limiting factor here as strength, more so on the upper than lower body lifts.
I expect to do better once the poundage starts going up and the reps drop.
Really looking forward to squatting on Thursday. It'll be my first super high day as well, so I think that the extra leverage will do me well.
Edit: Well, I screwed up the math a little bit here. I didn't add 5lbs onto my max and take the percentages off of that. So I started with the same weight that I did last cycle, but at least I beat it by 2 reps.
I did a similar thing with incline bench during the first week as well. Oh well, it should be fine.
